Local churches benefit from Spring Concerts

Fauré's Requiem and Haydn's Little Organ Mass (Kleine Organ Messe) were the main works of the programme of sacred music for our 2005 Spring Concert, which featured guest solist, Leslie Macleod-Miller (baritone) and our own organist, Debbie Jordan.

We performed the concert at two local churches, raising over £1100 toward their appeals.

The first at St Michael & All Angels Church, Steventon, on 20 March raised over £200 for the Church Organ Fund.

The second at St Andrew's Church, Letcombe Regis (near Wantage) raised £910 for the Restoration Fund at its sister church, St Michael & All Angels, Letcombe Bassett.
