Come and sing Handel's Messiah - Voices for Hospices 2009

We would like to invite you to join this sing-in of Handel's Messiah with Steventon Choral Society as part of Voices for Hospices 2009 when choirs and orchestras around the world will be raising money for this charity event.

Singers can either raise sponsorship for the performance or buy a ticket (see below). Sponsorship forms are available from Helen Pearce (contact details below).

We will be using the Novello Prout edition. We do hope you can join us for what should be a terrific occasion.

Rehearsals

There will be a full rehearsal in the church on the afternoon of the concert at 2 pm. We expect everyone to attend this.

Optional rehearsals will be held in Steventon Village Hall on Thursday 24th September and Thursday 1st October, and in Steventon Church on Thursday 8th October.

  • Non-members: £7.50 or sponsorship
